About Me

Hi I’m Lyn,

Having loved colour, shape and form since I can remember, in 2019 I found the courage (with the help of an artist friend) to put paint on paper and see where it led me.

And once I started, I couldn’t stop.

Living in Woodbridge, Suffolk, the big East Anglian skies often provide inspiration for the spaces within my work. And as someone who doesn’t do symmetry (or matching dining chairs) a host of imperfections are purposely visible in my landscapes, faces and pieces that convey dreams and far away thoughts.

Having enjoyed an early success with my figurative piece ‘Ned’ accepted and shown at the RA Summer Exhibition in 2021 and a landscape ‘Laura’s House’ shortlisted in 2023.

In the coming months my faces can be found at The Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead (8th - 12th May) exhibited by Mae Gallery on Stand J8, and at the Ipswich Art Society Annual Exhibition - 3rd May - 23rd June
