A friend of Harlequin - June 2022 - Lyn Peters.jpg

Painting since 2019, I work mostly in acrylic and mixed media, with my work going very much where inspiration takes me.  Painting abstracted landscapes (often featuring East Anglia's big skies), and my own distinct figuratve style, my paintings are very much about tones, textures and allowing the space in the piece to find it's own voice.

With art career highlights to-date including my portratrait 'Ned' being shown (and sold) at the 2021 RA Summer Exhibition, and my small landscape, 'Laura's House' shortlisted for last year's RA show, my happy place is getting lost in where my art takes me.

In the coming months my faces can be seen at the Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead (8th - 12th May) exhibited by Mae Gallery (Stand J8) and at the Ipswich Art Society Annual Exhibition - 3rd May - 23rd June.
